I’ve heard this story a few times now (and in person from the source) and yet every time my heart breaks again for you, only I know that it all works out in the end in a way that could probably never be envisioned, but it does and it did and I’m thankful for that.

For sure! I lived in Rosemont, in a suburb just off Watt to the south. I moved away in 1999 when I was still a kid, but definitely remember seeing Tower Records, though I don’t think I ever went inside. Then I came back around 2006 for awhile, but I believe it was closed by then.

Been forver. I was 15-16....I'm 57 now.
