It could be a list. The decision is weighted based on the options you choose. Someone into magic and adventure could be shown you and Kummer, someone into magic and mystery could be shown Lisa and Alicia, etc. You get the authors to pick two or three common words to describe their work and then the ten or so questions points them at a list of similar writers. I made the one I showed you from scratch but there are other more professional ones out there like Interact and involve.me
I'm still chuckling about this, because I think I should be left off the list.

Because it's always been my goal to connect every main category of genre in my world over the series.
Started with fantasy, then we went to science fiction, the next book gets into mystery and horror...the podcast being made right now is Cosy Mystery, and the series will go into Romance soon.
...and the whole series is rock solid in comedy as well.
My readers are loving this path I'm walking...and it's working so well.

I had an idea about helping people find more substacks. Have you ever taken one of those personality quizzes like "Which Star Wars Character are you?"
The same sort of quiz could be built to instead point to substacks with similar values and/or temperaments.
Yeah, but how do you determine the end result?
You might be writing about a single character and book,....but I have a whole involved fictional world, with both Fantasy and Science fiction...
Wouldn't that create more options for a reader?
